Chronic wounds are different from general traumatic wounds, including venous ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and pressure ulcers due to poor local blood perfusion, low nutritional metabolism, wound infection or necrosis, low local high pressure as well as oxygen pressure and other factors. Chronic wounds belong to the category of phlegm in traditional Chinese medicine. They occur at the end of the limbs and are more common in the lower limbs. The treatment of this disease includes internal treatment and external treatment. The internal treatment method starts from the overall syndrome differentiation, regulates qi and blood, phlegm and collaterals, and external treatment cures heat and detoxification,promotes blood and muscles. This case provides clinical observation experience of internal treatment effect.
