中醫對於慢性腎臟病的長期療效

【摘要】
背景慢性腎臟病患者能不能吃中藥已經爭論了許久,從民國九十二年的馬兜鈴酸事件開始,幾乎每年都有吃中藥會加速腎臟惡化,甚至是洗腎的新聞。以整個台灣為範圍的大規模長時間研究發現,慢性腎臟病患者在接受一般西醫照護的情況下,如果再加上合格中醫師的治療,可以降低惡化成腎臟衰竭風險,也可以降低死亡率。呼籲民眾一定要找合格的專業中醫師,切莫自行購買來路不明的中藥,更不建議自己去路邊採草藥回來煮。

Summary
Chronic kidney disease patients can eat Chinese medicine has been debated for a long time. Almost every year since the aristolochic acidosis in 2003 reported that people eating Chinese medicine would accelerate the deterioration of the kidneys and even kidney failure. A nationwide large-scale, long-term study found that patients with chronic kidney disease who underwent general western care and combined with appropriate Chinese medicine could reduce the risk of kidney failure and also reduce their mortality. We urge people to look for qualified professional Chinese medicine practitioners, do not buy unknown Chinese medicines themselves, and do not recommend picking and cooking herbs themselves.
